Stockholm / Guerette: Start in Stockholm, go out Lake St. to Rt 161. Then head North toward Guerette on 161 The next 9-10 miles features paved shoulders, rolling terrain and views of Madawaska Lake. Traffic is sparse early in the morning, but you have to watch for moose and an occasional bear or fox. Today 7 / 3 / 99 I skied past two moose feeding by the side of the road. Robert Sprague
